Policies and Terms of Service
(Please Read The Following) Overview
The service, provided to you by The Sky’s
The Limit, is done with care using quality techniques. When placing an order with The Sky’s The Limit, you are
stating your agreement to the following terms of service creating a binding legal agreement. The word "you"
used in the following overview means customer.
Details of the DVD formulation are required
on the Work Sheets that are to be filled out by you, please make sure that all details specified on the Work Sheets meet your
requirements. Once you receive your final DVD home movie, slideshow or photo restoration, you can request any corrections
within fourteen days after receipt of the DVD home movie, slideshow or photo restoration. We care about our customers
and any errors made by The Sky’s The Limit in regards to photo or video sequence, duration, spelling error, defective
disc, etc. will be corrected once notified during the specified time frame.
All DVD
home movies and sideshows are made on discs of the DVD-R format. Almost all DVD players will play this format
of DVD. If you are unsure that your DVD player will play the DVD-R format, check your DVD player
manual/manufacturer or contact The Sky’s The Limit and we will assist you. The following website can
help you to learn if your DVD player can play the DVD-R fromat, http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers. This check should
be made before the program is started.
We scan all photos and digitize all
videos into a software program. If The Sky’s The Limit determines the quality of your photos or videos are not
suitable for producing a quality DVD, you will be notified and presented with options. Should you select
to cancel an order for any reason, you remain liable for all shipping, handling and return costs.
The Sky’s The Limit recommends that you ship using a reputable mail carrier such as US Post Office,
Fed EX, UPS and that you insure the shipment. The Sky’s The Limit in the return shipment will use the
US Post Office, Fed Ex or UPS and will insure the return package for $100. The Sky’s The Limit will exercise
care in packing your photos, videos and music for their return. Techniques such as "Do Not Bend",
plastic over photos will be exercised when required. Under no circumstances shall The Sky’s The Limit
be liable for any damages to or loss of your photos, video or music during shipment. Upon receipt
of your package, a representative of The Sky's The Limit will either call or email you of its arrival.
When we return the package to you, we will provide you with a tracking number when available.
When preparing the final DVD home movie, slideshow or photo restoration, The Sky’s The Limit will use the photographs,
videos and music that you provide. Upon your request, The Sky’s The Limit will purchase music for you. It
is your responsibility to ensure that you are in compliance with copyright laws of all photos, videos and music used in your
final DVD home movie or slideshow. You also agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Sky’s The Limit against all
liability that may occur as a result of a third party claim of copyright violation of photos, videos and music used in the
final DVD movie or slideshow.
The Sky’s The Limit will also exercise
care in scanning your photos and copying your videos and music. However, The Sky’s The Limit is not liable
for any physical damage to poor physical quality of photos, videos, music, etc., nor is the Sky’s The Limit
liable for photos, videos, music, etc. as a result of theft, fire, flood or natural disasters.
You
must be 18 years of age or older to use our services. The Sky’s The Limit will not accept any form of pornographic
material and will return the materials to you at your cost. You may not duplicate, modify, or use the service
provided by The Sky's The Limit for any commercial purpose. Do not make copies of the final DVD movie or slideshow
without the written permission of The Sky's The Limit. The Sky's The Limit has the right to terminate any service
for a customer in violation of any of the stated terms or policies.
