My name is Susan "Susie"
Yagher. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up in Indiana. I was an executive assistant for many years which gave me the organizational skills and
discipline that I need and use to be a graphic designer. In my business, I have to meet deadlines, so being organized
has certainly had it's advantages.
In 2000 I developed the Alumni site for my High School (Morton Memorial High School) located at the
Indiana Soldiers' and Sailors' Children's Home in Knightstown, Indiana. To date, I have almost 2000 Alumni listed
and many check into the site daily where we share our lives and keep in touch. I am very proud that I played a major
role over the years in bringing our Alumni back together. I also do research for families that are searching for loved
ones from the Home. My work with the site and with our Alumni has been a true labor of love for many years.
I moved to Ormond Beach,
Florida in 1994. I decided in 1998 to return to college where I earned my degree in computer graphic design. I
graduated from Daytona State located in Daytona Beach, Florida, in 2000 with High Honors (Phi Theta Kappa). I served
on the board of the D.B.A.F. (Daytona Beach Advertising Federation) for one year to represent the students in the Graphic
Arts Department.
I
have ten (10) years experience in many areas of graphic design and photography which include; photo restoration, DVD presentations,
brochure design, web design and corporate logo design. The programs I am familiar with are Photoshop CS4, Illustrator
and InDesign for page layout and design. Also, office programs; Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I am available to
work on a project to project basis for your company.
